Wyoming is all about stories. The programmers are very interested in ensuring that their filmmakers are positioned to succeed. The concierge experience begins from the application and continues well past the festival with the family affair built through this process.

An exceptional festival, hands down. The kindest people rolled out the red carpet for all us filmmakers. We were honored to be included with so many high quality films.

Our cast and crew had a fantastic time in Cheyenne! This festival had so many film options and activities to choose from. The programmers make sure that a food truck, concessions table, and beverage bar are available. They also have exciting after-parties each night. You can tell that the WYOIFF team make hospitality their top priority. They care deeply about filmmakers and the art of filmmaking! I will definitely submit to this festival again someday!

— Stephen Seder, Director “Runaways”

I loved every minute of this festival! I was able to attend multiple screenings and thought the quality of films was outstanding. Great networking, and great overall vibe. Additionally, I've never been better treated than I was by all the staff behind the scenes. WyoIFF were gracious hosts and true champions of independent films. I will submit again to this fest, in fact being there gave me a shot in the arm wanting to make something soon so I could be there next year. Even if I don't get a film selected, I will travel there next year for sure. Worth every penny!

— Matthew Taggart, Director “The Counterfeit Kid”

I had a great time at this festival. They had good programming and help nourish a strong sense of community with the other filmmakers. They took us to Bison Farm, and I was invited to be on 2 podcasts through the festival. My friends and I made the trip into a whole western adventure by going to a rodeo, and camping out at a nearby campsite in between blocks of movies and after parties. Everyone there was very nice, the community is really starting to get involved, and you can tell they are building something that's going to continue to get even better.

— Monique Sorgen, Director “Lying is Complicated”

Such a good festival! Extremely well organised, with lots of opportunities to meet fellow filmmakers and make new friends. The Bison Ranch tour on the first day was a fantastic ice breaker. Really enjoyed exploring Cheyenne too. Some real gems in the selection too.

— Chester Carr, Director “Something for Nothing”

The Wyoming International Film Festival was a wonderful experience for me. It started with a personal phone call to tell me my film was accepted--and the communication and outreach continued to be fantastic throughout the whole festival. Truly a filmmaker's festival. Thank you WyoIFF!
